A week on
So I decided to decide on a style, and in a way I played it safe, leaving enough so that I can change it later on if needs must!
Bizarrely though, it looks less now that I have shaved...

Day 6 - still tachless?
So Sunday morning I was hoping I would have something a bit more concrete to show off than I do, as you can see for yourself...however I will push on through the "silly" phase where either people won't notice my hard efforts (cos growing a tach is such a physical thing), or they will simply think I haven't shaved for a few days.
Jokes have already been made about me not being able to take part in Movember, but good on me for trying !! :(

Mo Style - decisions, decisions
So after telling friends and family about my noble deed of trying to grow upper lip hair for Movember - while trying to recruit willing stubble growers at the same time - I now realise that I soon have to make a decision...
You see, for the first few days after I shaved on the 1st of November, things are easy. No shaving. I can do that. Stubble all over, looking good. But it's looming on me that I need to choose what to shave and what not to shave. What style am I going to sport for the rest of the month??
AND, once I have made my decision, I will have to stick with it. I won't be able to go back. I can't decide on a "standard" moustache, and then want a "trucker" tache!!
There will also be a period of time (potentially a week) where I will have to shave, because there will be too much stubble on my face to be acceptable, but the stubble won't be long enough to pull off a satisfactory moustache.
I still haven't decided, but here's mug shot after 3 days... my times running out

Movember - to Mo or not to Mo!
So November's fast approaching and recently I was reading online about Movember - the month of November where you grow your finest moustache, all for men's health and in particular Prostate Cancer - a good cause indeed.
I know friends who've taken part before, and so have heard about it, and if you read the info on the website (http://uk.movember.com/) it's popularity is huge and growing all the time. So I thought, why not.
But what if you can't grow a tache? Seriously, I have bum fluff on my face and stubble that takes me a week to grow, others can grow in a day! I've also got very little facial hair between my nose and my mouth, so even after a week or two of growth it will look like I've just dunked in a Mocha - rediculous. Why isn't my face able to produce a good handlebar moustache?? I want to look like one of the guys in the 118 adverts damn it! Not something many people say I reckon....
So, if you're ever feeling down in November (or even after for that matter!) come on down and take a look at the funniest home grown tache you've ever seen! I promise to take regular photos, however don't expect to see much for the first few weeks!
In fact, I'm a bit unsure of what style I should be going for...or indeed what styles there are! If anyone's got any suggestions, please speak up as I'm all ears, and may even take up any dare / challenge laid down.
Here's a quick snap of my face (with about 4 days growth) to see what I've got to work with ... not a lot!
